We the people of the apple based platform and subscribers of Netflix can now watch movies on Netflix.com.

The official Netflix blog gives current Mac users the options to opt in to the beta media player. With this option, Netflix has opened the doors to Mac users across the globe.

The P.C. bias of Nexflix has long dominated the debate between Mac and P.C. enthusiast. Tin Foil conspiracies theories surround the long domination of Windows only viewing. Tin wisdom would have you believe that Top Executives, cloaked in the Netflix tower, banished cross platform internet viewing with a swing of a memo. Sure sounds like the stuff of legend and a cross platform dent in Itunes movies sales might be closer to the truth.

A rotten apple can ruin the bushel and Mac has to take the good with the bad. Our internet viewing is not all sour grapes.

Information wants to be free. From Watergate to Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, we see the freedom of information. Welcome to the basic tenant of Cyberpunk.

Forget the news stories you have read and the hyperbolt you have absorbed. Know moral hackers hack Gibsons to keep the Information free; to keep the truth in the public domain and progress society. The imprisonment of information is the dam to block progress.

In the Binary age of mega corporations, information is currency. In the pages of cyberpunk, the rebel movement believes Information wants to be free. Two men can keep a secret, if one of them is dead.

Secrets are hard to contain and one must exert effort to contain them. Information is no different and we see the binary is a wealth of free information. Hulu.com, or the sites like it, bring high quality content to the internet with limited commercial advertisements and is free for all users.* We see it in the scourge of Internet Pirates on the music industry. Apple has held out for as long as they could.

The market dictates the venue and Netflix can be found on everything, besides the kitchen sink.* Xbox 360, TIVO, a unit interface for your television, and possibly in production, one for your kitchen sink, can all connect to Netflix through your internet connection.

Blockbuster has released a like minded system but they are known to censor movies. In the mortal combat of video rental, Blockbuster has suffered a babeaillity and defies binary maturity. They have chosen to limit the information and should suffer for their acts.

Netflix online movies are the fruition of a great idea. Movies over the internets sound closer to Netflix than any mail based scheme. Now Mac user can opt in all the fun. Netflix admits the player is buggy, but I watched “War, Inc.” and didn’t have a problem. You read that right, War, Inc. for all Netflix account holders to behold. The future is here and Netflix paves the way.
