The Automatic Music Explosion

Last night, “I Am” cried tears of joy and sorrow onto Los Angeles. Fairfax was a river and washed in white noise silence. The Automatic Music Explosion had left the building; building being the Kibitz room. Jodie had sung the last note. Matt had stood upon his last table top. Matt had beat the last skin. Chris put down a stage worn axe and Jeff had laid down the final foundation to The Automatic Music Explosion’s residency at the Kibitz room. 5 months of pure rock had slipped by in the heat of a finely tuned set.

canterbird The Automatic Music ExplosionProcrastinators have suffered for their sin of sloth and doubled their damnation as they missed the grand Fairfax finally. The world missed out but the word had spread. A packed house met the hardest working band in Hollywood. The Automatic Music Explosion is a breath of fresh air to the Kibitz musical scene. Their Tuesday night shoes are a hard pair to fill. The Automatic Music Explosion’s stadium sound will be well missed by regulars and staff of the Kibitz Room.

Which was made real, when Matt raised a glass to the crowd and toasted to the memories. The crowd remembered good times with the Automatic Music Explosion. Their weekly nights at the tiny dive bar, where there was sure to be a lively crowd, a rocking set list, and a smile to meet you at the door.

cantersflyer 4 The Automatic Music ExplosionOutside, the rain washed away the sorrow of endings and cast the sordid street in celluloid glamor. The world made sense and change is on the horizon. From candid conversations with sources close to the band, the future of the Automatic Music Explosion is a bright light of rock. New music is on the way and, if the verbal morsels are any indication, you want to be on the look out for new tracks by the Automatic Music Explosion.

While the Automatic Music Explosion will be missed, their cast of fellow bands and performers will also leave ghosts of shows past. Peter John Nelson, who preforms an acoustic set of heart break strummed with a melancholy wit, The Mullhullans, who bring a full force set with Sarah’s alluring stage presences, or Automatique who closed last night show with a funky, progressive rock style. The Automatic Music Explosion is a band of quality musicians and talent begets talent. They bring the show and also pack their friends.

Rock junkies fear the coming of next Tuesday but subside your musical itch. The Automatic Music Explosion might not rock the Kibtiz room, but they still rock. You can find the hardest working band up and down the Sunset Strip. Venice Rocks on Sunday 30th November, The Automatic Music Explosion is going to be there. Panther ( formerly Metal Skool) next Monday 1st December, The Automatic Music Explosion is going to be there. They earn the title of the hardest working band in Hollywood. They are a sound above the rest and a tribute to a dedication to music.

Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks for the many things we hold dear and all of us here at ANF would like to give a big thank you to the Automatic Music Explosion for their residency gig at the Kibitz room. We have had a great time and look forward to the fruits of your future labors. Our old readers know the Automatic Music Explosion, and our new readers should get to know them. Take the chance to see them now, before they bring their stadium sound to its rightful venue.
