Six String Samurai

The first thing that pops into my mind when I see the cover of “Six Sting Samurai” is fast food chicken pieces. I first saw “Six Sting Samurai” at my friends house, which was right down the street from a joint we always got chicken pieces from. I have the same kind of memory with “Kids, Inc.”, but that is another story all together.
There are many reasons to like “Six String Samurai”. A musical sound track laid down by the Red Elvises, a post apocalyptic United States, and Las Vegas, stands like Oz on the horizon. Mix dystropian future with an infusion of rock and roll. Part action flick, and part B-movie, “Six String Samurai” is worth the watch.

“Six String Samurai” is biased on the premise the USSR, won the war. A nuclear weapon dropped on America and Las Vegas is the last bastion of society. Elvis is the King but when he dies, who will take his crown? A legion of pretenders set their sites on on Las Vegas.

Buddy carries a sword and a six string. He travels the post apocalyptic desert to claim Elvis’ crown. In his way, stands a cast of comical characters and even Death himself. Along the way to Las Vegas, he picks up a child sidekick, who won’t go away. But in the American wasteland children become liabilities and can soften even ice cold hearts. Could the child cost Buddy his sought after crown? Get “Six String Samurai” to find out.
