Incorrect Grammar

Artist are a
odd sort of bunch.
I once read
a poet must
takes weeks
to edit
a single poem,
or
he cannot call
himself a poet.
I ate that
lure, line, and leviathan.
But then
I found Bukowski,
And that
says it all,
folks.

Rethink Art

    lemon yellow squares
    of sunlight
    fall through the windows
    to land on gray cubes
    yet fail
    to reach the people inside
    who’ve turned their faces
    away from the light
    and instead
    lean towards
    the blue-gray flicker
    of an ever watchful eye
    trying desperatly
    to forget
that life was meant to be lived
